My Dutch has improved a lot since starting with Kickstart. The face to face lessons keep things interesting, and keep me accountable. The longer 2.5 hour sessions were helpful so we could use the first 20 or 30 minutes to talk and answer questions to put our learning into practice. Paul’s approach is relaxed and fun, but helpful. It’s always a treat going to a class with him.

The courses are definitely good value for money. Everything was super organised, when I needed help at the beginning of the course (login details and so on), the staff were quick to respond and very friendly. The teachers themselves conduct themselves professionally, but always with a good sense of humour. I opted for 2 courses in the remote format, because I knew I had to travel and would not manage to be in The Hague for 3 consecutive months. Thus the Kickstart remote courses were perfect for me - thank you for offering them!!

Karin was particularly helpful, and patient enough to help us learn the language. I now have a good foundation to improve on my grammar. Karin guided us through some tricky rules that made everything easier and enjoyable.

Really good teacher. We got through everything on good timing and we got answers to all questions. We got to talk a lot, read and do many tasks. It's definitely worth joining these courses.

Our teacher is very approachable. She takes time to explain each topic in an easy way we can understand it. I can say after 10 sessions, I can understand basic dutch phrases and can answer simple questions.

The material is very good and complete, the theacher was very kind and easy to understend.

I had some difficulties figuring out what course I should do, but got a lot of help from the school to figure it out and ended up in the right course

Very easy to work with and easily located

It was interesting on lessons, I learned a lot of new words. What I like -we talked a lot, that makes you pronounce words and sentences and you learn Dutch easier.

My Dutch level has improved. As the class progressed, I didn't understand it quickly, but I was able to understand Dutch than before the class.

nice intake, clear instructions, friendly teacher, good pace to teach to a beginner. Recommendations: - during intake emails, it is mentioned to buy the book ourselves but then I received the electronic copy of the book with a voucher code. So I bought the physical book for nothing. - I saw some other classes with more classes at more affordable prices. - I think 2,5 hours after work is a bit long, I could prefer sessions for 1,5 hours for 2 times a week, which was not available at the time. - There is no education, information tips about Civic Integration exam.

Very happy with the overall design of the course. I feel like it is very organized and the additional material provided by Kick start is very good to practice at home. I would recommend it to all of the people who are on their journey to start learning Dutch.

I would highly recommend this course. Josje is an amazing teacher.

Thought the class itself was great and would recommend. Maybe slightly to slow at the beginning but overall very good. My biggest struggle was doing the actual class after a full day of work until 10pm.

I believe the Dutch course is structured in such a way that all four components of learning (listening, speaking, writing, reading) are equally practiced. The teacher is amazing. Not only is he professional and knowledgeable, but he is really patient and understanding towards students. There is no feeling of judgment coming from the students, neither the professor. Everyone is welcome to express themselves in Dutch, in whatever way! Overall the course at Kickstart really helped me learn Dutch in a fun and relaxed way.

All depends on your willing to learn language, whenever you decide to go to study it. This school use good materials, good book and has nice attitude. We had a lot of fun with mr Paul and learned Dutch in very positive and relaxed atmosphere.

Paul is a fantastic teacher. Patient, encouraging, kind and fun. He creates a great environment where you feel safe to try and to make mistakes and learn from them. He took time to understand the students in the class and their needs and adapted. He is an asset to Kickstart!

Found the flipping classroom method adopted for this course not suitable for me, while having a fulltime job. The required homework takes longer than 2,5h per week. Teacher was nice and helpful Course mainly focused in the book and the online exercises.
