I found Mynta Law through the internet as the only firm that offers help/service with a special case that I have: Legally applying for Netherlands' partner visa without having to live together. Since I did not found any other law firm that offers the same service, at first I was a bit hesitant to hire a lawyer for my case since I cannot make comparison of the successful rate for this kind of visa application. This was my first time hiring a lawyer for anything. I needed help applying for the DAFT visa and with some advice on how to set up my business. Visa and other legal or governmental procedures are always so stressful, especially when the processes are not entirely clear. From the start, MyntaLaw was very clear about the procedures. Ashley answered any questions I had, and when they weren't able to answer, always gave me a point of reference--another lawyer at their practice, a notary to recommend, or website links, documents, etc to begin searching on my own. On one occasion where Ashley was on leave for a week, she made extra care to ensure that I had a point of contact if I had any questions or issues while she was away. Answers were always timely (within one or two days) and they were always open to calling if I had further questions. For the level of personalized services I received, the pricing was exceptional. I'll definitely go back if I have any immigration issues in the future, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

I hired Mynta to represent me after having an administrative appeal and application for Permanent Residence as an EU Citizen rejected by the IND. It was clear that it was going to have to go to court, and when looking for an immigration lawyer, I came across Mynta's articles about CJEU rulings and EU residence law, which were quite relevant to a dispute about permanent residency based on EU law. Nadine and Arend quickly got the appeal to the court filed, and I believe they struck a good balance between the thoroughness of the argument and keeping legal fees under control. Shortly before the hearing, the IND reconsidered its position and issued proof of my right to permanently reside in the Netherlands as an EU citizen; the subsequent hearing in court resulted in the recovery of a substantial fraction of the costs involved. If there's a disagreement with the IND, I'd definitely recommend Mynta.
