Why are there two scores on the review page?
At customerstell, we don’t just collect reviews, but also scores. By leaving a review, you directly give a score using stars. You can review the entire shop, and sometimes also the specific product with a score! These are called product reviews. The review score is given by customers to measure the overall experience with the company, by selecting 1-5 stars. At customerstell, both the overall total score and the total score for the past 12 months are calculated.
How is the 12-month total score calculated?
While Google’s algorithm may be extremely complex and mysterious, at customerstell we keep things nice and simple. The total score calculated over the last 12 months is exactly what it sounds like: the average of all scores left in the last 12 months. At customerstell, we believe this provides the most accurate and up-to-date picture of customer satisfaction for businesses.
Does my score count actively?
As you can see, calculating the total score at customerstell isn’t complicated at all. This not only makes it easier for us but also ensures that every reviewer’s voice – positive or negative – counts. We believe it’s important that every voice is heard at customerstell. The customerstell reviews can also be adjusted: so if you receive further assistance after posting your review, you can simply update it.
What happens if I leave a negative review?
Whether a review is positive or negative doesn’t matter. If it complies with our terms of use, the review will be posted. Making mistakes is human, and this can happen to businesses too. With a negative experience, it’s natural to immediately leave a negative review. When you do this, the company in question receives a notification of your review. They may want to help you further and therefore contact you. After they help you, you’ll get another chance to adjust your review – assuming you’ve been helped sufficiently, of course.
Are all these positive reviews legitimate?
Every online store occasionally deals with critical reviews or dissatisfied customers. Companies can respond to each review. This shows how a company handles criticism and whether complaints are resolved. If you notice a company receiving many reviews in a short time, this might be because they asked many customers simultaneously to leave a review. Online stores choose whom to invite for a review, usually without knowing the customer’s experience beforehand. We ensure this process remains fair and regularly consult with our clients to ensure that not only satisfied customers are asked for reviews. This prevents a one-sided and unreliable picture.
How do we ensure reliable reviews?
When you order a product (online) from one of our clients, you’re invited to leave a review. This review often consists of a short questionnaire, where you have the opportunity to provide additional comments. Clientstell does everything possible to filter out fake reviews through built-in barriers that identify fake reviews. You can report a review if you suspect it isn’t genuine. Why can I only leave one review?
Customers are allowed to write one review per purchase about their experiences with a company to prevent misuse. This prevents satisfied customers or acquaintances of the company from manipulating the review score. However, you can leave more than one review if you’ve purchased a different product or service from the same company.
Can customers modify or delete their own reviews?
Reviews cannot be modified or deleted by the company where you made a purchase. Companies can respond to reviews to resolve any complaints. As a customer, you can always modify your review if your experience changes. Clientstell always refers to the original review.
Are there reviews on the review page for which an incentive was received?
Through customerstell, it’s not only possible to collect shop reviews but also product reviews. This allows customers to share their experience with a specific product, so future customers immediately have an accurate picture of their potential purchase. This increases conversion for each product, and thus generates more revenue per product. In fact, thanks to our Google Partnership, these reviews are indexed and more easily discoverable. Google shopping increasingly dominates the online shopping experience, so it’s crucial that your listing stands out on Google as much as possible – and you do this with reviews, of course!
