The client's expectations for the mission were, not only to build the capacity of departmental agents in the area of capitalization, but also to make them self-sufficient so that they themselves could conduct capitalization processes. Thanks to the support of KIT and the perfect knowledge of the context by the experts, the expectations have been reached. The level of satisfaction expressed by the beneficiaries is over 90% and today the Ministry effectively ensures the relay on the issue of capitalization.

After having checked with colleagues that were involved in this service contract, I can confirm the the goals were met.

In the future, please make sure to keep the original files (invoices etc.) of the expenses that are claimed with us and send these to our office. Our office needs these files for the financial administration of the expenses within the project. This was agreed in the contract, but has sometimes gone wrong (original files were not kept). In the last months of our collaboration, this went rather well.

The KIT team put together two strong set of papers in a short period of time and IDRC is, overall, very pleased with the quality of their work. Based on feedback from the earlier drafts, KIT added weight, evidence and details to clarify their findings. The team did a commendable job in meeting the terms of reference for this work in the timeline. We thank them for their hard work, professionalism, timeliness and dedication to produce two high quality reports.

No; the flexibility of the KIT team in adapting to our needs and ultimate goal of establishing a strong partnership was much appreciated.

The goals are fully consistent with the ToR

The mission delivered a project document based on elaborate interaction with stakeholders in Rwanda. The document has been very useful in developing a new programme, although changes in context have necessitated some flexibility.

Re-design the writeshops. The one we had in June 2017 did not provide satisfying outputs to be able to move forward as expected. Please write the terms of usage below in English - I have no clue what I agree with...

Most of the goals have been met. The goals that have not been met were due to delays in getting back from our side or due to changes in circumstances

This is a difficult one: I work for a non-profit organization, and we have used KIT several times - in fact one of my preferred collaborators. However, in comparison with other providers KIT is relatively expensive, and each time it is getting harder to achieve approval for contracting KIT.

Involve WCDI more in KIT assignments. We try to do this with KIT; but we sometimes feel that it would be nice if it were reciprocated. But overall good collaboration.

KIT was contracted for a final evaluation of a project in Benin. The forthcoming report was of good quality content and well written. The tor emphasized the need to formulate recommendations to the project team as well as relevant stakeholders. This element was well elaborated in the report.

They have been met fully.

KIT services costs are bit expensive. In addition to KIT's consultant type of services, KIT can also co-design the project with partners and raise funding together or identify funders if possible.

The goals of the ToR have been met, and even some additional elements were included in the research. The feedback I received from one of the interviewed companies was that the researcher clearly understood the topic and the context in which companies work. My colleagues are overall very satisfied with the report.
