To a very large extent
The goals of the ToR were fully met, the KIT team were fantastic, they were very collaborative and flexible to our needs for the project.
A few comments: - I would contract KIT again for an assignment more suited to their skillset. - We learned through this small assignment that the analysis we requested was too complex, which was a valuable takeaway. - I think that the presentation of the results could have been written simpler / more for an audience that no nothing about gender justice.
Clearer agreements from the outset about study framework, scope and methods. Pass final reports through proper technical editing before submission. We had to spend a lot of time subsequently editing and re-organising the reports

Finalizing of the project was a bit unclear since involved staff had to leave for other pursuits, though there was no clear take-over by other staff/ new contact person from KIT.
Drafts of deliverables have been developed.
KIT Consulting Firm demonstrated practical knowledge and experience in the claimed areas of expertise. They were able to thoroughly understand, analyze, and report on the aspects of the assignment KIT maintained cordial relations with UNICEF staff and counterpart officials. They worked within UNICEF’s normal procedures and regulations.
goals have been met
KIT was professional and easy to work with. The staff who were seconded to this assignment were highly skilled and brought a great deal of expertise to the evaluation team which was valued and appreciated. There was some disagreement between our organization (client) and a KIT staff member regarding the branding of the final deliverables; this deliverable was for a donor and we had a legally binding agreement to adhere to a branding and marking plan between the donor and our organization. This created some difficulty, tension and strong differences of opinion between a KIT staff member and our organization which was unfortunate. KIT and the staff completing the assignment were acknowledged in the deliverables however it would be useful to clarify this and negotiate terms in advance with future clients if KIT has branding expectations beyond a logo and written acknowledgment of the work that is featured prominently in the deliverables. Last, it would be useful for KIT to remind staff that when completing fieldwork for a client, they need to be mindful of and adhere to their (host) codes of conduct in addition to KITs expectations. This was especially problematic when it came to photography and having to ask a KIT staff member repeatedly to not take photos of any beneficiaries, from any distance, unless prior consent had been obtained. Otherwise, KIT staff were pleasant, enjoyable, professional and added value to our team.
I think KIT can have more people working on Tuberculosis- it is the biggest infectious killer of humans and a lot of work is needed globally.
Timely communication and updates on status at regular intervals. Noted that there had been staff illness and that assignment proved to be more difficult than initially expected by both sides. This resulted in final product being many months beyond initial agreement. Although this was communicated it was not always proactively done.
I suggest that staff sent on these assignments fully understand the TOR and the Country's context (level of staff understanding, especially in use of technology). E.g. the Cocoa Study
They have been met completely.
So far, goals have been met.
There's a need to include more local consultants as part of the teams
1. Standardization and updating of content 2. Stronger integration between lessons to allow students to understand how knowledge, skills and attitudes aim to be changed in each session / across modules; 3. Upgrading of online content management platform to enable for longitudinal participation (instead of using ad-hoc solutions like WhatsApp; this is not a criticism of past / current uses of ad-hoc social media / chat apps to foster continuity but to note that this is a hidden opportunity that can allow for past students to join an ADHS community of practice and this is an untapped potential of the program).

nothing specific, just keep it up
Many thanks to KIT for completing this research within a limited timeframe and for being flexible in their approach. The main area of concern arose from work undertaken by external consultants doing quantitative analysis. We had serious concerns about the quality of this work and that these errors were not picked up by the team at KIT. We would recommend reviewing quality control in terms of quantitative and in the quality of work undertaken by external consultants.
No suggestion
KIT offers a broad range of scholarships and group trainings within the NFP program.
I'd like to encourage KIT to make more use of young local experts (instead of going for usual suspects). And to see if more innovative methodologies can be applied.
