Excellent opportunity for starting learning dutch. Great aproch, frendly atmosphere. I am fully satisfied and I will continue with the next course.

It was intense and not overwhelming at the same time. It is amazing to see how much one can learn without getting mentally exhausted. Maartin is a great teacher.

Small groups and a cozy little environment

I am in the class advanced dutch block c with Lucas. He can be more well prepared for the classes and I think the course doesn't worth the value. With other teachers, the classes are always more organized and less impromptu.

I met very good teacher and very good students. My English has improved little by little. thank you very much.

Gradually, we were becoming more comfortable and losing shyness. Attending classes has become a pleasure!

I would like to make a comment regarding Semi-intensive remote course Stepping stone I (A1-A2). The overall course was good, a lot of interaction and the book/handout are interesting. Maybe a little bit too much English. The other note is it would be still good to make students learn verbs/words. There was no motivation to learn because they were not asked, but maybe it’s my personal moment. What I also noticed, a teacher was not able to answer some questions either right away or even later. I understand some moments could be not explainable but still. Again the course was useful and practical. It should suit more to people who don’t work or don’t have kids. You really need to make yourself studying before the lesson, otherwise it will be less productive. Thank you for the opportunity to learn Dutch.

I have done 3 course now at Kickstart and each one has given me the confidence and determination to succeed and not give up! I have enjoyed the small group settings ad the variety of our backgrounds. The learning programme is clear, well balanced between speaking and writing and rigorous overall. Letty has been an excellent teacher. Patient, knowledgeable, excellent at explaining words and grammar, and quick at giving clear and concise feedback on homework.

Very well, a lot of help provided and whenever there were areas of confusion appropriate time was given to prove clarity.

The learning experience was versatile, as the language got approached in various ways: grammar and vocabulary by the book, articles and short texts from newspapers, videos from the news and books in simplified Dutch. The pace of the course was just right, not too slow not too fast. Looking forward to the next one!

Ik vond het leuk dat de lessen zinvol waren. De leraar was zeer bekwaam. Ik heb mijn niveau echt verhoogd.

I like the school but with SS4 there seems to be a big gap in knowledge after SS3. So I ffelt overwhelmed at times.

Harriet was really good, friendly and willing to help all the group to get the most out of the course. On line curriculum was very busy, the curriculum may be divided to 12-14 lessons instead of 10 to have a slower pace for all to catch up. The current set up is not very viable if you have a full time job and on line materials are not designed to support a full on line experience. To get the most out of this experience, the lessons should be recorded and students should be able to play and review these recordings on their time.

That was my target to learn at kickstart. But it's not gerat to have a lot prcitce to talk but abuot ruels.

It has been a nice learning curve. I am getting a better grasp of the language. Understanding the roots and why is something done, also helps in learning the language. The course duration is perfect and the break in between really helps to keep focus throughout the class. The fellow students are also very cooperative and friendly. In all a very nice experience and I would definitely recommend this to all my friends.

My teacher was amazing, always willing to help, and very encouraging. The NIG book was very helpful and KickStart Hand Outs as well. However CTN (Continuo) is not that great of a platform. Overall very satisfied !

I am very happy about my experience with Starterpack and our teacher Marteen. I couldn’t speak at all, even though I understood a bit of Dutch when I started. Now at the end I can have small conversations in Dutch and understand a bit more what is happening around me, at the news etc.

I enjoyed the course, loved the company and the atmosphere and the progress has been there, so definitely recommended, will come back for the next level.

Excellent experience and great teacher, I feel more confident using my newly gained Dutch knowledge in every day interactions.

The homework was kind of optional but i would have done it all if it was less, or only the *** elements I also did not read more than the first pages of the book because i did not understand that we could have one from the school and a simplified version, so better communication I attended all lessons but two, and would have liked to know that it matters for the certificate at the end otherwise it was well organized and i learned a lot!
