The teacher was really good.
The book + online material were a good support with interesting and varied exercises, the topics were also very relevant for us. I liked that we got to practice every skill (and also pronunciation). The teacher was kind and explained well, but the class felt often too slow for me/ the teacher talked a bit too much and I found that it wasn't useful/ a waste of time to go over some material (like the reading comprehension we had to do as homework and that we could self correct...). I wish we had more time doing relevant speaking practices (like role plays)/more interactions with other pupils in the class, but I imagine it was harder to organize with an online class... I liked the flipped classroom concept (new material studied at home / explanation & practice in class) and the course gave me more confidence to speak "in real life". Overall a happy experience, with room for improvement !

I really enjoyed the online A1-A2 Dutch course. The teacher is kind and helpful and gets a good pace to the lesson for beginners. I felt that she was patient with us when we made mistakes. I like that the method, homework and structure of the lessons is really clear. Doing the course online is also very convenient and means I was able to follow easily every week. I feel a lot more confident in my Dutch (particularly listening) and am signed on to do the next course.
Good communication and feedback from facilitator. I would have liked lessons to be more practical and not as much working through the book.

I Had the opportunity to study from home, doing speaking and reading during the online course with the teacher and tgr classmates
Positive experience, nothing negative to mention.
Some exercises were very easy and others very difficult, it was difficult to feel a clear progression sometimes. More conversation would be helpful and less reading sentences on the PowerPoint slides. The teacher was very nice and understanding and presented ideas very carefully.

Overall I can definitely recommend the lessons but would prefer an option where it's twice 1 h a week rather than 2hour bulks. After a full day of work it gets really hard to follow online. The teacher was patient and there were rarely if no technical problems at all.

We had previously tried a different language school for group lessons and found it wasn't a good fit for us. Kickstart School and our instructor Carmen were wonderful with our personal lessons -- Carmen was incredibly patient with us and made learning fun. I would highly recommend Carmen for personalized instruction.

De Nederlandse B2-C1 cursus was een uitstekende ervaring. Carmen was een zeer deskundige en geduldige docent die de lessen op een boeiende manier leidde. Wat ik het meest waardeerde, waren de interactieve en sprekende onderdelen van de cursus, die me hielpen mijn taalvaardigheden in de praktijk toe te passen. De dynamische sfeer in de klas zorgde ervoor dat ik me snel op mijn gemak voelde en gemotiveerd bleef om verder te leren. Het was een waardevolle investering in mijn taalontwikkeling.
Good experience, a lot of interesting conversations and good exercises to practice at home.
The course offers excellent studies to learn grammar and understand structure rules. However, for an intensive course, it's essential to complete the homework and prepare before each class; otherwise, it may be challenging to keep up. Additionally, practicing speaking outside of class is crucial for reinforcing what you've learned.
I ve been having courses with Kickstart for 2 years already, and plan to continue with them!
