Very good. The teacher is very committed to make us student understand everything which is very good. The material is very structured and easy to access.

Interactive and engaging class both in person as well as online. Great and interesting introduction to the Dutch language due to the set up and symbiosis between book, handout and online material, the focus on speaking and the general communication skills by the teacher.

The teacher and the course itself has been incredible and very personalized which it’s really good.

The teacher, Paul, always motivates us to learn more and to be able to speak more fluently. You learn but you have to participate.

Like the course contents and how Kickstart reacted to Covid. Sometimes a little too fast for my level. A must is to do the homework.

The teacher was great! I believe it would be a 5/5 if the lesson was face to face, but for an online course isof course very well structured and organized! Thank you! :)

I really enjoyed the course

The instructor had a balance between having a high expectation of learning, and supporting the needs in the class. They were willing to slow down as needed and pace lessons appropriately, getting "distracted" with worthwhile questions that benefited learning. The learning platform is less successful in helping students gain access and motivating students to access resources.

The remote course was as good as the face to face course

Good course with a good teacher and any time I need to contact the office they were quick to respond.

I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions and course with KickStart, I would highly recommend their courses.

There is a balance between writing, speaking, listening and reading during the course. The homeworks help you a lot. It was very interesting to read 2 books in dutch and also to prepare and present a topic in dutch.

If you are looking to improve your grammatical knowledge (for me in Dutch) the Stepping Stone course seems to do a great job. Maarten Smit was a great teacher who enjoys teaching the course. However, the online platform with the homework was a bit complicated and not very user friendly. You can get away with mostly using the text book.

Super experiance

I found the level of the students very similar and that I found great. I could see they were all very motivated and that helped me improve too. The teacher was great, had a lot of patience but kept a good pace throughout the course, I was never bored and even though it was via zoom the 2 hours went very quickly.

Very well organized and totally beneficial for me. I feel that my dutch knowledge is improved by far.

Voor mijn recente privé cursus (NT2 grammar refresher cursus en schrijven) vind Ik Lucas een heel goede docent. Hij heeft passie en vaardigheid om les te geven i een vreemde taal. Bovendien luistert hij goed en is creatief welk deel zou ik nog meer moeten leren! Het afgelopen juli-augustus 2020 had ik Deeuwertje als mijn docent voor de online SSV cursus. Ze is een heel goede docent! Ze heeft passie en supportief en luistert goed en creatief hoe we de grammatica en lezen beter begrijpen. Daarom ben ik weer bij kickstart teruggekomen voor een volgende cursus.
