Bad customer service and brand expectation not met
I had a bad experience with them. I bought a Renault Captur 2013 model on 22/06/2024 for 9200 euros. Selling a used car at that price, one would expect the company to do a good check-up before selling. On inspection of the car, my husband noticed that the coolant tank was almost empty and pointed it out to them, but they said it was to top it up. We bought the car only to find out that the coolant was leaking and there were oil stains on the parking ground. I called the company about the coolant and they had it repaired. I still noticed that the oil stains continued and I called them about it and was asked to bring it in. They checked the car and quickly came out with a diagnosis, saying that the person who did the big servicing did not tighten the oil filter and that they had repaired it. The next day, I still noticed more oil stains and called to say that the issue was not solved, after a long discussion/argument with rude staff, he said that they would not repair the car and that I could sell it off at Marktplaats if I don't want the car. All these were within 2 months. I eventually took the car to another Renault dealer and a different diagnosis was found which was in no way related to oil filter and I was charged 425 euros for repairs.
I know that for used cars a buyer should be ready for some repairs, but if a dealer would sell a used car expensive, then the least customers would require is that they are buying a vehicle that is in good condition and not gambling with their hard-earned money.
From my experience, customer service was bad(rude staff) and brand expectations were not met (thinking that buying from a Renault dealer would save me the headache of buying from an unknown dealer).
