Bad experience
I made appointment for skin treatment and had to come back twice for it to actually happen because the first time therapist was more interested in talking with me and giving his advice and opinions about beauty products so long, that when I asked „can we start the treatment?” he said „we don’t have enough time anymore, but you can go buy some products in our shop and come back for the treatment another time”. All this time he didn’t tell me much about treatments which I was interested in, instead he kept advertising the products. I was disappointed with waisted time, the treatment was to prep me for a wedding party, so that was lost! Under his influence I ended up buying some expensive product from Maurits shop and regretted it later. I made another appointment and to have the actual treatment I wanted from the start, I couldn’t believe that the rooms are not equipped in professional lights for examining clients’ skin. Lightning in general is very poor in the treatment room, so poor that the therapist was using a torch in her mobile phone to look at my face!!! I haven’t seen this even in salons in developing countries. For an expensive salon in the prime location of Amsterdam I did not see that coming. I didn’t feel at all like the therapist could advise me well. The treatment was only with the use of some machine, no human touch, no solid skin examination and a lot of talking. I am not coming back to Mourits, there are more professional salons in town.
